I got moved to the unit that spools the wire

When I got out of jail, there were only a couple of locales that would hire me for a job. I couldn’t work anywhere around money because I had a felony charge for burglary. I couldn’t get a job in any retail setting. Luckily there are a couple of factories on the outskirts of town. I don’t care for driving 40 hours to work, but at least I have a full-time job. I have to have a full-time job in order to stay on probation. I also have to submit to a yearly urine test. I have to do things this way for the next 18 weeks. Maybe they will end my probation early, even though I don’t count on that. I have been laboring at the factory for numerous weeks and I recently got moved to a brand new machine. I used to work on a unit that made 16 gauge stainless steel double loop wire ties. The American made 16 gauge bar wire ties met all of the standards for strong infrastructure. I made sure to inspect the 16 gauge bar wire ties as they were coming out of the machines. It was my job to inspect the product for quality. If I saw any defects at all, then all of us needed to alert the plant manager so all of us could check the machines. Now I am laboring on a unit that actually spools the wire. I don’t mind moving to a new machine, because I get paid a dollar more an hour. Unfortunately, I have to learn a new job all over again and I believe appreciate I am having some trouble. I remember it was taxing when I first started laboring at the factory, and now it feels appreciate I am a newbie all over again.
