I never thought there would come a time when I would worry about running out of toilet paper.
During the quarantine, everyone was distraught about running out of toilet paper and that included my wife and my children.
I thought it was a deranged thing to worry about, until I had to go to the store and search for hours to find toilet paper. I could not suppose that the super center and the grocery store were both out. I went to the pharmacy and they didn’t have anything either. They didn’t even have the toilet paper that feels appreciate a newspaper. There was nothing at all. I even looked in the RV area to see if they had septic safe paper and that was out too. There was no hand sanitizer anywhere either, but there was no way I was going to get away with going house and not bringing toilet paper. I finally went to a convenience store and found one single 4 pack of toilet paper. It was a 1 ply brand that cost me $7.50 for a four-pack. I had an equally taxing time finding black annealed rebar wire ties. Black annealed rebar wire ties were out of stock for numerous weeks. I had to go with a weird company and I definitely didn’t believe appreciate the quality of the black and the old rebar wire ties were as good as the company that I was previously using. Thank goodness they were back in company after a couple of weeks. I’m sure ecstatic that things are going back to normal.
